Dr Ben Sellick

SPECIALIST PROSTHODONTIST — Adelaide, South Australia + Hobart, Tasmania

Ben completed his undergraduate dental training with honours in Sydney, moving back to Adelaide to commence private practice. He subsequently completed a Prosthodontics residency at The University of Adelaide in 2014, graduating with a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry and immediately registering as a Specialist Prosthodontist.

He regularly lectures both domestically and overseas throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas. Ben is a member of various professional bodies, including the ITI, the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontists and is the immediate past-President for the Australian Prosthodontic Society in South Australia. He also serves as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) at industry level consulting as a product evaluator for a number of dental companies. 

Ben currently maintains two busy referral-based, specialist prosthodontic practices almost 1,500km apart: one in Adelaide and the other in Hobart. 

Time permitting, he enjoys the educational aspects of prosthodontics, mentoring local undergrads and newly graduated dentists. Additionally, perhaps what is more a function of the age we live in,  Ben is frequently replying to hundreds of clinically-focused WhatsApp/Instagram messages the world over - the result of previous and future presentation attendees. 

Ben has a long term interest in the digital aspects of prosthodontics and their applications to complex aesthetic rehabilitation and implant dentistry.

Dr Mansoor Walipoor

SPECIALIST PROSTHODONTIST — Hobart, Tasmania

Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons), Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Pros)(Adel)

Dr Mansoor Walipoor completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide, subsequently moving to regional Victoria and later Melbourne to practice general dentistry. Soon after, an opportunity arose to work internationally and he accepted a position in private practice in the city state of Singapore.

While there, Dr Walipoor attended to the oral health needs of local and international expatriate patients. He held a special interest in prosthodontic treatment at the time which led to his undertaking of formal specialist training at the University of Adelaide and the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) program.

Dr. Walipoor also maintains a research presence in dental material science and implant dentistry as well as prosthodontic teaching and education. While enjoying all aspects of clinical care, he has a keen interest in comprehensive functional and aesthetic rehabilitation and is experienced in treating both children and adults with complex and medical dental needs.

When away from the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons, practicing carpentry, photography and fishing.
